“Heroes of the Heart” Honored at the Surf Club

It was a night filled with energy and excitement as the supporters of Miami Heart Research Institute celebrated the induction of this year’s first group of “Heroes of the Heart.” The gala, held at the Surf Club, was reminiscent of the Grand Balls of the past. Ladies and gentlemen dressed in their finery danced to the big band sound of the Al Nebular Orchestra and experienced fine gourmet dinning, a silent auction, prizes and surprises. Well-groomed, white-gloved waiters served the guests in elegance. Talented Staff General Manager David Mangan and Marie Tuck, Manager of Catering/Social, were on the scene as well as everyone’s favorite Maitre’D Teresio. The glorious event benefits the cardiovascular research and educational projects conducted by Miami Heart Research Institute. This will definitely make the list of one of the best events of 2004!
