MOCA Honors Top Donors at
Garden Party by the Sea Luncheon
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) paid tribute to its top donors during a special “Garden Party by the Sea” luncheon at Turnberry Ocean Colony. The event saluted MOCA’s Chairman’s Circle Honorees, donors of $50,000 or more over the past three years and was generously sponsored by Turnberry Ocean Colony and Beach Bank.

Honorees were: Irma and Norman Braman and the Braman Family Foundation, whose generous contributions to the museum have provided vital support for exhibition and education programming; Dolores Ziff, for helping establish MOCA’s 21st Century Fund to help build an endowment for the museum’s future; Jan and Daniel Lewis, for their outstanding continuous support of MOCA’s teen programs; Francie Bishop Good and David Horvitz for generous support of MOCA’s exhibition and education programs; The Sol Taplin Charitable Foundation for generously supporting MOCA’s education and exhibition programs; Paula and Joel Friedland for generous support of MOCA’s education and exhibition programs; Citigroup Private Bank for major support of MOCA’s exhibition programs and Citibank and Citigroup Foundation for support of MOCA’s education programs.
MOCA Director Bonnie Clearwater stated, “This was a wonderful way for us to say thank you to a group of individuals and corporations who have made a special commitment to the museum. Their extraordinary generosity helps ensure that MOCA can bring important arts programming to the community, now and in the future. We were thrilled to have such a beautiful setting in which to honor them. ”
Jacqueline Fletcher, Vice President of Community Affairs for Turnberry Ocean Colony stated, “Turnberry Ocean Colony and Beach Bank were very pleased to co-host this important event and lend our support to such a vibrant center of culture in the community.”

A sumptuous lunch was prepared by Lasso the Moon, and the luncheon’s festive garden party atmosphere was enhanced by arrangements by Roses by Karla.
